Emigrating Norwegians

Ikke alene // Not alone

Even though Per Christian is away with work, I have not been alone. My wonderful relatives Harlo and Eleanor came down from Northern California and visited. Without their help it’s not certain that we would have been here, because they helped us a lot in the process of getting our green cards. They have stayed with me the last couple of days and we have had a great time together. They have the cutest little dog, Puppers, who’s a mix between a Maltese and a Pomeranian. What a perfect mix!

It’s sad that they left today, but I’m happy that I’ll see them again this weekend already.

Eleanor had to teach me how to make some real American corn, because when I opened the can of what I thought was corn on a cob, it wasn’t. So I have a 3 kg can full of corn that we bought at Costco the other day.

I’m a Norwegian girl who is leaving the cold, icy north together with my husband to find out what’s happening on the other side of the world, more specifically Los Angeles.
