Småpenger og regninger // Change and bills

All the change we get here is driving me crazy! For every dollar we spend we get a bunch of useless change back! Well, the quarters are actually very good to have if you need parking, stamps or if you need to do laundry. So we can’t get enough of them. But the rest goes straight to the piggy bank I bought Per Christian in Vegas. Maybe someday it will all add up and become a few dollars.

Another issue is writing checks to pay our bills. It’s so inefficient and time-consuming since we’re not used to do that! And we don’t have the slightest idea how to do it.. But what we have learned is that it is a good idea to send them a long time before they are due since we have to send them by mail and so on. Oh well, we’re learning, but right now it’s a little frustrating not to be able to just log in online and pay them right away. I have to admit that it is amusing to actually have to write checks since it’s so very American 🙂
