Emigrating Norwegians

Downtown Burbank

Koner bestemmer.

Today has been slower than yesterday. We have researched how to get car insurance today, which in our case is a little hard to understand. Seems like you can’t buy a car without insurance, but you can’t get insurance without a car… But someone told me that we can get an insurance waiver, like a temporary insurance for one month, and then get a car. I hope so, because we are returning our rental on Thursday.

Other than that we went to Downtown Burbank today which was very nice. A street with shops, a mall and Ikea, hehe. We like it a lot here, and we’re not getting the big-city-feeling at all. It was fun going shopping again (even though I didn’t buy much), I haven’t done that for a long time. Urban Outfitters is one of my favorite stores, they have so much supercool clothes and things. I think Per Christian felt that I was there for a week in man-time. But I don’t care. I’m the wife.

I’m a Norwegian girl who is leaving the cold, icy north together with my husband to find out what’s happening on the other side of the world, more specifically Los Angeles.
