Emigrating Norwegians

Networking marathon

Departure is getting closer, and we are doing everything in our power to create a solid network both in Norway and the US that can prove to be useful for us after we move. We have to make ourselves visible and let people know that we are ready for work in LA, through both Norwegian and American employers. Having a big network is very valuable here, but probably more in the US. As the typical cold and shy Norwegians that we are it seems very difficult, but this is the time if any to get out of our shells and show off what we know. So we’re e-mailing and calling people and telling everyone that want to listen that we’re ready to work. I just really hope it will work. Crossing my fingers.

I’m a Norwegian girl who is leaving the cold, icy north together with my husband to find out what’s happening on the other side of the world, more specifically Los Angeles.
